For almost three years, I was a ui/ux designer managing our internal design system on the Xfinity marketing team, building and maintaining our Figma design system for Email and Display Advertising, as well as support for OLV, production design and more. A major part of my day-to-day work involved building and managing reusable components, templates, typography systems, color styles, and layout standards inside Figma. As marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, and promotional requirements evolved, I ensured that all updates were reflected consistently throughout the system so designers could work from the most current and approved assets. I collaborated closely with email and front-end developers to ensure design decisions translated accurately into production. This included organizing files for clean developer handoff, aligning component behavior with implementation requirements, and helping maintain consistency between design intentions and final live experiences across email and digital marketing placements. Beyond maintaining visual consistency, the system helped streamline internal workflows by reducing repetitive design work and improving scalability across campaigns. By centralizing modules and standardized assets, teams were able to move more efficiently while maintaining alignment with evolving Comcast brand standards and marketing objectives. Final results Throughout my years here, and the various design tasks I worked on and executed, for the main design system work the result is as follows - the result was a more scalable and reliable design system that supported faster production workflows, improved cross-functional collaboration, and ensured consistent execution across Comcast’s digital marketing ecosystem. The work balanced visual design, systems thinking, organization, and practical implementation needs within a large enterprise environment.
