Working through The Charles Group, I contributed to a redesign of multiple internal dashboard screens for Bessemer Trust, focused on improving usability, hierarchy, and modularity across complex financial workflows. My responsibilities included UX research across banking and investment platforms, along with in-depth discovery sessions with the client. As part of the research phase, our team visited the client’s Midtown office to study the physical environment—materials, textures, and spatial design—which directly informed the UI direction and visual language. The design work focused on: - Redesigning form systems, inputs, and typography for clarity and consistency - Creating a modular dashboard structure with customizable widget-based layouts for advisors - Introducing flexible “blank state” frameworks allowing bankers to personalize their workflow views - Aligning the digital experience with the client’s established brand identity and physical office environment The final deliverables were adopted by the client as part of a broader digital refresh of their internal tools, improving both usability and flexibility for investment management workflows.
